As The New York Times pours over the Mueller Report, New Yorkers have a second copy-toner killer in their midst.

A heavily redacted report released by the Department of Investigation into Mayor de Blasio’s illegal handing of donations from developers under the cloak of the now disbanded “Campaign for One New York”.

This is not shocking, as The City first broke news of de Blasio’s most recent ethics violations despite numerous warnings.  Read the Department of Investigation’s report HERE.

Curbed reports that developers “TF Cornerstone, John Catsimatidis’s Red Apple Group, Brookfield Property Group (which donated $50,000), Two Trees Management (which donated $100,000), and Toll Brothers” are all implicated in the pay-to-play donations.  Given that half of the DOI’s findings are redacted, perhaps there are at least twice as many involved?

With multiple investigations, proof of wrong doings and cover ups, parallels to national headlines are inescapable.  Perhaps there is a chance?
